What I'm Doing

Kisses To The Moon (1).png

Kisses To The Moon is a women's fiction novel that tackles the themes of strained parent child relationships, the family court system, domestic violence and child neglect, teen pregnancy, and mental health issues. This is a fictional novel based off partially true events and experiences.

Rayne, a 19-year-old who lost her mother in infancy, has always yearned for a connection to her past. But when she stumbles upon a mysterious box in the attic, filled with letters and gifts from her biological mother, Hailey Elaine, her world is turned upside down. The letters reveal a shocking truth: Rayne's entire life has been a lie. Consumed by anger and a desire for justice, Rayne sets out to uncover the truth, not just for herself, but also for her terminally ill mother.

OTHER PROJECTS

  • I've been enjoying the #Boosktagram community. My links can be found in the upper right-hand corner of the page. I'm thinking about exploring other social media platforms too. I've been reading a lot, and I'm thinking about posting blog-style book reviews. I've already done this some in the past, and I'm wondering if people would be interested in something more regular.

  • I'm starting my MFA in 2026. Part of the program is to have a publication-ready novel, and so I'm hoping to publish my first novel shortly after graduation from the program.
